The Zelienople Police Department serves the community

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We are staffed with 8 full-time, professionally trained officers.

We also serves Harmony Borough through a contractual arrangement.

Sgt Joseph DeSanzo, 724-452-3003, extension 443

Patrolman Mark Peters, 724-452-3003, extension 445

Patrolman Wayne Magill, 724-452-3003, extension 446

Patrolman Charles Carlson, DARE Instructor, 724-452-3003, extension 447

Patrolman Sean Adomaitis, 724-452-3003, extension 448

Patrolman Melanie Hart, 724-452-3003, extension 449

Patrolman Michael Kopp, 724-452-3003 extension 442

An asset of the Department is that, because of the small

geographic area covered, the response time to calls is

extremely short.  Zelienople also has a percentage of

crime solution that is more than double the State average.

Recognizing that the Zelienople area has a very low crime rate,

the Police Department focuses on "prevention of crime"

particularly with our youth.  Activities include the bicycle

safety training and inspection program, the D.A.R.E.

(Drug Awareness & Resistance Education) program

taught in our schools, and school tours through the Police Department.
