Paving Project Update (8/2/2010)

The PA DOT paving project and handicapped ramp installations project will soon come to a close. See below. Please note that this project is not under the control of the Borough as it is a State project.

Handicapped Curb Ramps

July 30, 2010:

It is anticipated that the handicapped ramps at Main and New Castle Street will be completed with evening construction.

Week of August 2, 2010:

The ramps on Grandview Ave. should be completed during this week.

PAVING

When all of the Handicapped rams have been completed then there will the final paving with wearing coat blacktop on the entire project from the Western County Line through E. New Castle Street to the Harmony Borough Line on E. Grandview Ave. It is not clear when the final phase of the project will take place.
