ZELIENOPLE PROPERTY TAX:
The Borough of Zelienople levies the following property tax rates:
General Tax 1.81 mills
Library Tax .39 mills
Fire Dept Tax 2.36 millsTotal 4.56 mills

ZELIENOPLE PER CAPITA TAX:
The Borough levies a Per Capita Tax of $5.00 for every resident over the age of 18. There are exemptions for persons whose annual income is below $5,000. ZELIENOPLE EARNED INCOME TAX:
The Borough levies an Earned Income Tax on all residents of the Borough which is 1/2 % of annual income. Typically, this tax is paid to the appointed Earned Income Tax Collector, Berkheimer Associates, through a payroll deduction.
ZELIENOPLE LOCAL SERVICES (LST) TAX:
The LST Tax is on all individuals employed within the Borough. The LST Tax is $52 / year. There are exemptions for persons whose annual income is below $12,000. Berkheimer Associates is the appointed Per Capita Tax Collector. Their telephone is (724) 453-5060.
ZELIENOPLE REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX:
The Borough receives 1/2 % of the value of all real estate transferred within the Borough limits.
SCHOOL TAXES:
The Seneca Valley School District levies the following taxes:
- A 97.24 millage tax on property.
- A 1/2 % Earned Income Tax
- A flat Occupational Assessment Tax of $10.00 on all residents of the Borough over the age of 18.

BUTLER COUNTY TAXES:
The Butler County tax rate for 2009 will be 23.63 mills on property.
