Zelienople Volunteer Fire Department
The Zelienople Volunteer Fire Company was organized in
1850 and since has served our community with distinctive
competence.
What makes the Fire
Dept. the most valuable resource of the community is its
dedicated volunteers. They place their lives at risk in
order to save ours. Their services are based on
extensive and continuous training, high tech equipment,
teamwork, and maintaining on-going competence
certification.
The Fire Department
is always in need of volunteers to help the membership.

be glad to explain the rewards for joining. For

ZELIENOPLE JUNIOR FIRE BRIGADE
Youth is the lifeblood of any organization.
In 1999 the Zelienople Junior Fire Brigade was
organized. Both teenage boys and girls are welcome; they
are exposed to much of the training required of the
volunteers (but not safety threatening); and they
actively participate in many of the operational and
administrative activities of the Fire Dept.
Most important, they are our future fire and emergency
response team.
Zelienople Fireman's Auxiliary
The
purpose of the Firefighters Auxiliary is to cooperate with and assist
the Zelienople Volunteer Fire Company. in their social functions and to
provide support in times of emergency. Membership is open to any
civic minded people who wish to aid the Volunteer Fire Company and
reside in Zelienople or a mutual aid area.
The
Auxiliary is looking for any community volunteers willing to help and
support the firefighters. Meetings are September through May on
the 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Zelienople Fire Station at 7 PM.
