Band

The Resurrection Band, first organized in 1980, is a "spin-off" of the Zelienople - Harmony Firemen's Band, The band helps to build community spirit and is an outlet for musical talent. The name "resurrection" was chosen because it was a fitting description of many of the senior members who "resurrected" their musical skills from many years past and their instruments that had been stored in attics and closets. Today it is a band composed of young and older musicians under various directors. A drum majorette compliments the band. The band is a great source of fun and satisfaction for all involved.
